Each initiative described below has been assigned to the relevant area of the European Charter for Researchers. For initiatives implemented before the revision of the Charter in 2023鈥�2024, we indicate their correspondence to the principles contained in the previous version of the document. In this way, we demonstrate the continuity of our implementation of the HR Excellence in Research standards.

Researchers have access to tools supporting the publication process, including the Researcher鈥檚 Guide, which provides practical guidance on selecting journals, using bibliometric databases, preparing abstracts and publishing in the open access model.

The implementation of open access initiatives is also supported by the Rector鈥檚 Representative for Open Access to Publications and Research Results, who is responsible, among other things, for the development of the UL Repository, training activities and the promotion of open science principles.

The implementation of open science is further strengthened by the , based on transparent principles for the allocation of funding among disciplines.

These measures support the wide dissemination of research results, enhance the transparency of scholarly communication and contribute to the development of a responsible and sustainable model of research that takes into account the social and environmental impact of science.

In developing our research activities, we take into account their impact on society and the environment. Activities in this area are supported by the Rector鈥檚 Representative for Climate and Environmental Policy and the Climate and Environmental Policy Council, which work in cooperation with the Centre for External Relations and Social Responsibility of the University.

Progress and initiatives undertaken in the social, environmental and organisational spheres are presented in the University Social Responsibility Report for 2025.

We foster an open research environment that supports international mobility and the free circulation of knowledge, experience and research expertise. An important element of this system is the Welcome Point for International Researchers, which supports international researchers both before they take up their positions at the UL and after their arrival in Poland. The Welcome Point provides personalised support in matters relating to employment, relocation and residence formalities, while also helping researchers settle into the academic environment and everyday life in 艁贸d藕.

We also promote research mobility through the regional NAWA鈥揈URAXESS network, coordinated by the University of 精东影视. Together with 精东影视 University of Technology and the Medical University of 精东影视, we are developing a support system for international researchers, doctoral candidates and their families. The initiative includes assistance with residence and employment matters, integration activities, the exchange of experience and support for research career development.

These activities are complemented by initiatives developed within the UNIC Alliance and by projects that strengthen international cooperation, facilitate the exchange of research experience, and support the development of professional networks. Through these efforts, we create a research environment that is open to collaboration, interdisciplinarity and international career development.

The development of a culture of equal treatment at Uni精东影视 is supported through educational initiatives that raise awareness of equality, diversity, multiculturalism and the prevention of discrimination. An important element of these efforts is a range of training activities delivered, among others, through the RESET project and the Uni精东影视 鈥� Discrimination-Free Zone (#Uni精东影视RAZEM) initiative, as well as information campaigns promoting attitudes based on respect, inclusion and social responsibility.

These initiatives contribute to the creation of a safe and open academic environment that supports the academic and professional development of all members of the Uni精东影视 community.
