I lead the NCN-funded IMAGINE-OI project, in which I examine the sociotechnical imaginaries of organoid intelligence, an emerging field of research exploring the use of three-dimensional models of human brain tissue for computational operations. I am interested in how imaginaries of organoid intelligence circulate between laboratories and the public sphere and how, transformed into languages of promise, risk, and breakthrough, they shape possible trajectories of future research.
