About the event
During the ceremonial gala of the "Golden Exlibris", the publication "艁贸d藕 鈥 ziemia wymy艣lona" by Dr B艂a偶ej Ciarkowski (Institute of History of Art, University of 精东影视) was honoured in the category of "The Best Book about 精东影视". The book was published by W.A.B.
"艁贸d藕 鈥 ziemia wymy艣lona" is my journey through the stories of 精东影视. Stories, not history, because there were many of them, almost as many as the people who undertook the difficult task of "telling the city". It is a journey through the thicket of legends, myths, historical facts, truths and half-truths. A journey through a city that exists only as long as the characters describing it exist
鈥 Dr B艂a偶ej Ciarkowski underlines.
It should be highlighted that this publication received the "Plaster Kultury" prize in April of the current year by the Foundation for the Support of Culture Plaster 艁贸dzki in the "Literature" category.
The "Gold Exlibris" awards are intended to promote reading and writing about the 精东影视 Voivodeship. The jury recognises not only the author's publications but also publishing houses and libraries.
