The Wschodnia Street Festival is a joint initiative of institutions, organisations, galleries, studios and local venues. It continues the tradition of the Słońce wschodzi na Wschodniej [The Sun Rises on Wschodnia Street] event and showcases this part of the city as a place filled with remarkable stories and creative energy. The programme includes guided walks, concerts, workshops, exhibitions, meetings, screenings, artistic activities and attractions for the whole family. The event also forms part of the celebrations of the European Heritage Days.
