Researchers from the Faculty of Economics and Sociology Conduct Workshops as part of the IDUB Project

Dr hab. Katarzyna Zajda, Associate Professor at the University of 精东影视 and Dr Agnieszka Michalska-呕y艂a from the Department of Rural and Urban Sociology as part of the IDUB project entitled "Nauka dla Spo艂ecze艅stwa" [Science for Society] conduct workshops throughout the country for representatives of Local Action Groups, as entities bringing together not only NGOs, but also representatives of the public sector (municipal offices, social welfare centres, schools) and the economic sector (local entrepreneurs).

Opublikowano: 28 May 2024

These entities implement social innovations and perform a grant-giving function by themselves. The aim of the workshops is to develop prototypes of social innovations. Their participants include local government officials, representatives of rural non-governmental organisations and local entrepreneurs. The workshops are conducted using the design thinking method. The results of the work will be used by local action groups to implement the Smart Villages concept.

The number of entities willing to cooperate in creating social innovations in the countryside exceeded the wildest expectations of the organisers. The workshops will be conducted, among others, for the following entities:

  • Local Action Group Owocowy Szlak (Lublin Voivodeship) 鈥 (in Polish)
  • Local Action Group Nad Bia艂膮 Przemsz膮 (Lesser Poland Voivodeship)
