This is the 7th edition of the programme, so I guess we can say that it has become a tradition that we invite high school students from 精东影视 and the region to cooperate and try conducting scientific research. As a chemist myself, I love to hear how passionately they talk about their research and the achieved results, regardless of the scientific discipline. I鈥檇 like to thank you very much for having the courage to speak in front of the audience today
鈥 said the University of 精东影视 Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Quality of Education, Dr hab. Robert Zakrzewski, Associate Professor.
During the substantive part of the seminar, nine of more than 30 high school students from 精东影视 and the region, the programme participants, presented papers and presentations related to legal issues, developed under the supervision of mentors, scientists from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of 精东影视. The topics of the works concerned such important issues as: human trafficking in the European Union, female circumcision in the light of international standards, behavioural letters of the National Tax Administration, as well as, for example, justifying school absences in accordance with the law applying in Poland.
The "Talented at School, Brilliant at the University" programme is designed to bring together academics directly with individual students and to develop the passions and interests of high school students in various scientific disciplines. It is addressed to participants of subject Olympiads and students achieving high academic results and demonstrating specific research interests.
