About us
The Social-Ecological Systems Analysis Lab was established in 2018 (operating as a Research Unit until 2023) within the at the , . Between 2018 and 2023, it operated as a Research Unit within the Department of Regional Economics and the Environment.
The Lab's research focuses primarily on urban social-ecological systems . In particular, we investigate access to urban blue-green infrastructure from an environmental justice perspective, residents' perceptions and experiences of urban nature, and urban green space management. Although 艁贸d藕 serves as our primary case study, we also conduct research in other cities across Poland and internationally, working closely with researchers from various institutions. We strive to translate our research findings into practice, particularly by supporting urban planning and decision-making processes.
